The re-write of the Dubliners featuring Billy Connolly track "I'm asking you Sergeant Where's mine?" is complete!!!

And here it is.......

So we're here in Atlantis, under pretty blue skies,
Thinking on things that we've done,
Like raising the city and flying jumpers,
And meeting the Athosians

The Pegasus Galaxy's not a bad looking joint,
Though the city's as much as I've seen,
It could do with less dead ten thousand year old plants,
But then again, maybe that's me,

Oh Doctor Weir is this the adventure you meant,
When we put our names down on the line,
All that talk of computers and sunshine and tech,
Oh we're asking you Doctor, where's ours?

I'm patrolling, I'm patrolling
Over here and over there
I'm patrolling empty corridors
For good reason?
Who can say

More patrolling, more patrolling
Empty corridors, what's the point?
Always patrolling, finding nothing,
That's probably a good thing
Unless you're bored

Not my best work but it'll do.

Nearly finished the re-write of "Where's mine" just one more line to go!

Well Wheezy its is day ten in the Pegasus Galaxy and it's also the first official "rest day".

I was actually meant to be on duty today but Lieutenant Robbi Barton pretty much threatened to kill me if I didn't switch shifts with her so that she would have the day shift and I would take her night shift (apparantly she has a "hot date") and who am I to argue with a higher-up who doesn't want a day off?

So here I am with a whole day to myself. I think I'm going to find a nice place to sit and work on my attempts to Atlantis-ize the song "I'm asking you Sergeant Where's Mine?" (Dubliners and Billy Conolly) and "Why Aye Man" (Mark Knopfler)

After SG-24's hits "Crazy little thing called Ba'al" and "Goa'uld"(to the tune of "Golden-eye")  I've definately gotta put some work in, especially as I don't have those guys to bounce ideas off anymore.

There's also talk of an archery tournament and some demonstrations so I might end up watching those as well.

Who knows...

Later.

Here are Lt. Seamus Lee's three "rules" for going off-world....break one at your own peril:

1) Don't Get Eaten.

2) Don't Mention The War.

3) No Dying Off-World. If you have to go and get yourself killed please kindly wait until you have arrived back at base before dropping dead. Dropping dead before you are back on Earth/Atlantis will be frowned upon and dealt with severely.

Hey Wheezy and/or Seamus,

Yeah I 've decided now to write to both of you because....actually I don't have a reason and since it's my journal I don't need one. Ha! (This place is definately getting to me)

So here we are on day number eight of the expedition and yesterday....well yesterday was quite a day.

Seamus if I ever get back to Earth you are a dead man!

The day I've had I am so going to kick your ass for putting my name forward just so that you wouldn't have to go through the gate!

Three barks? Mate it was more like Fifty-nine barks with an "oh hell we are so screwed" on top!

Then again, I wouldn't trade it for the world....still going to kick your ass but I gotta admit when the Wraith ain't shooting at me and my door isn't locking me out of my room, it's pretty damn cool here in Atlantis.

Later Shameless....I mean, Seamus....

Hey Wheezy, me again.

Had a meeting with Major Sheppard today, y'know the military leader here on Atlantis, and well...it was interesting. I'm pretty certain that I made a slight prat of myself, but what's new?

The big thing about the whole thing is that ever since that meeting I can't stop thinking about Seamus.

You remember Seamus right? He was one of my old team-mates...you liked his hair when he came to pick me up on the way back to base after leave.
